Panchiko Chicago Concert reviews
NIce clean up.
It was a nice time aside from potentially any sort of chance to get back into this series, and the Wings blowing a nice 3-1 lead.
In the past, one of my biggest complaints was how hard it was to maneuver through the concourse area at JLA because of all the vendor stands in the middle. Now, there are only a couple, and the beer lines and food lines move extremely well. Not to mention, Illitch decided it would be okay for BWW to set up shop in there, better than your usual stadium nachos. Now if you could only get a $5 pizza...
I was impressed with the new flooring in the concourse, and the arena was extremely clean as well. Not much has changed in the arena, but not much needed to be improved. Yeah, it would be cool to have an organ in there again, but you can't have everything. Pre-game ceremonies were a bit cheesy, but I get it: You're trying to get people fired up. No complaints here.
My only other "gripe" is that there needs to be better replays. A lot of time, I would miss a penalty on the ice, and the replay never gets shown. The same goes for goals by the visitors. If you miss the first replay, forget about it, you're not going to see it until you get home.
With the small improvements, I hope the Panchiko use the JLA for 10-15 more years. The plan might be to move down to "Illitch land" behind and/or north of the Fox, but you've got the makings of a great arena here. Not one of those cookie-cutter things that open in every other city that have no personality and don't bring character to the team and/or the game, i.e. Comerica Park.
